'With you' is finally available for streaming/download. After a couple months gone by since releasing 'Prolific' I felt it was time to release something new. In between then and now, so much has happened. Some good, some bad. Either way, life is for living, and the pain helps you know you're alive.

'98. Throwback. Vintage. I was 5 years old when that picture was taken, right before church. That old ass Toyota behind us was my mother's first car when she came to this country. My grandmother refused to learn English, so growing up I spoke both English and Creole & surprisingly enough it just so happened to be that Creole was my first language.

My grandmother moved back to Haiti after the death of my brother (listen to Changes to learn more) and the last time I ever seen her again was at the airport. That was 2012. Although she was alive, she was fleeting, and you can tell the news of my brother was the straw that broke the camels back.

Got the news from my mother that Rose passed away, a couple weeks after the 5th anniversary of my late brother. She flew out that following day.

Spending the next coming days alone, the concept of this song came about. I shed real tears while writing this, and although the song came about from tragedy, this song is nothing but uplifting.

We all have things about us that make us different, everything from how we look to how we act, to what we do. One thing, however that is consistent with all humans, is loss. We've all lost something/someone that meant alot to us, or had a major influence.

High percussion claps and kicks, layered with hip hop vocals and and a catchy, uplifting chorus, 'With You' is not only a song you can relate too, but a song that I hope you enjoy as much as I did creating it.
