THE GROOVE, THE HEADMASTER OF BEATS
You can never understand the groove until you
meet the masters of groove
and how they make the audience groove,
whenever they take the stage -it’s
insane.
At age 23, already a Professional music
producer, most favoured and trusted
as a DJ who plays both house mixes and hip-
hop, beats maker who shared a
stage with both international and local artists, of
course International
cool isn’t? Worked with almost every DJ locally,
the likes of DJ Shimza,
DJ Black Coffee, DJ Speesta the list is
immeasurable and international DJs
as well Abicah Soul, Harrison Crump
Mr groove maker Clement Sithole from Tembisa,
best known by his fans as
Clemithegroove always wanted to produce his
own music, uniquely made by him
but that didn’t limit him from venturing to other
things apart from music
like branding clothes and running his movement
TheGroove which is based on
recruiting young talent upcoming DJs, producers
and models to help them
reach their goal and become the best. He first
shared a stage with an
American electronic music producer Skrillex in
2013 on the Mother Ship SA
Tour which took place in Wild Waters,
Johannesburg which was amazing, and
his first ever gig where he was playing alone was
in Mangaung African
Cultural Festival known as MaCufe which paid
him enough, from there his
weekends are always hard-pressed. He
sacrificed continuing with studying
science to study music which was big switch but
beneficial, one of the
important aspects of being a DJ that he
highlighted was communication in a
sense that as DJ he speaks to the audience
while on stage, he knows which
music satisfies the audience and which music
will make them respond, it’s
not all about them moving but creating an
atmosphere where they can just
paint the town red, interact with him and
appreciate what he is playing.
With the tough competition in the industry, he is
able to set himself apart
from his competitors because of his positive
zest, enthusiasm and rare
talent, as a person who possesses a quite
limiting personality trait which
is being shy this experience of being a DJ has
helped him to be open to
anything, being able not to be afraid to think
monotonously and make sure
that every goal is achieved because he is in a
process of building his
legacy. Being what he is it is not easy, there are
no easy challenges he
has his own ways to deal with them and bonus,
he looks up to people like DJ
Black Coffee who not only inspire music wise
but in general, always makes
him realize the motive of doing this and being in
the industry.
